Dreamland (1996) is the first album by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Madeleine Peyroux. This wide-ranging set features Peyroux singing swing standards, originals and tunes that hint at country and folk music. Highlights include "Walkin' After Midnight", "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter", "La Vie En Rose" and "Muddy Water"

Word Of Mouth was the second album by virtuoso bassist Jaco Pastorius, released in 1981 while he was still a member of Weather Report. Word Of Mouth focused on his ability to compose and arrange for a larger band than was previously featured on his first self titled album from 1976. The band's all-star cast included Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Peter Erskine, Jack DeJohnette, Michael Brecker, Don Alias and Toots Thielemans who is featured on harmonica on many of the songs.

Secrets (1976) is a Jazz-Funk fusion album by acclaimed keyboard player Herbie Hancock. Following up on his previous album Man-Child, the album again features Paul Jackson on bass, and reedist Bennie Maupin continued to provide most of the solos alongside Hancock.
