Good later day release by the German metal ensemble. This is probably the best effort that Udo and crew had unleashed since their all-out high and mighty ‘Restless & Wild’ album. Modern day metal classic. Be warned, this record is H-E-A-V-Y!! This record is brimming with classic hooks and riffs from the opening “Death Row”, to the slamming “Sodom and Gomorrah”, to the grinding “Stone Evil” or even the sliding “What Else?”.
Accept is a German heavy metal band from the town of Solingen, originally assembled by former vocalist Udo Dirkschneider, guitarist Wolf Hoffmann and bassist Peter Baltes. Kaizoku-Ban is a live mini-album or EP by Accept. It was recorded in Nagoya, Japan, in September 1985, and released the same year. It was later re-released as Live in Japan in 1992. This EP gives a quick glimpse of Accept’s awesome power as a live band. Recorded during the band’s peak, on its Metal Heart tour in Japan, Kaizoku-Ban is presented in raw form, with no overdubs
Recorded in 1996 in Nashville, Tennessee and the eleventh album for the German metal band. This is a typical Accept album; it is fast, aggressive, & technically adept hard rock and for singer Udo Dirkschneider the last studio recording with the band. This album may not have quite the level of intensity of ‘Death Row’ or ‘Restless & Wild’, but it’s definitely close. Drums and percussion were played by guest member Michael Cartellone from Damn Yankees and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The album opens strongly with “Hard Attack” and “Crossroads” and contains fan favorites like “Digging in the Dirt”. Accept proves once again to be Germanies finest heavy metal outfit.
