Small Talk is the seventh album by Sly and the Family Stone, released in 1974. This album was the final LP to feature the original Family Stone, which broke up in January 1975. Singles include "Time For Livin'" (the band's final Top 40 hit) and "Loose Booty".

Sly & the Family Stone came into their own with their second album, Dance to the Music released in 1968. It contains the Top Ten hit single of the same name. "Dance to the Music" peaked at #8 in The Billboard Hot 100, and reached 9th place in the R&B Singles of 1968. The song propelled Sly & The Family Stone into the stratosphere.This seminal album helped lay the groundwork for the development of Funk music.

The English shoegaze band Slowdive formed in 1989 and primarily consisted of Nick Chaplin (bass), Rachel Goswell (vocals, guitar), Christian Savill (guitar) and the band's primary songwriter Neil Halstead (vocals, guitar). Souvlaki is Slowdive's second studio album, originally released in 1993.

Low Estate is the 2nd album from 16 Horsepower; the Denver-based Alt-Country rock group revolving around the ingenious songwriting and vocals from David Eugene Edwards, also known for Woven Hand. Armed with banjos, accordions, slide guitars, violins and a heartfelt croon, the band are considered to be at the peak of their powers on Low Estate, with soundscapes are rich in darkness and mystery, accentuating the uniqueness of the group that lived on in Woven Hand.
